This website has been developed by the Clinical Audit Support Centre in association with a number of partners. The website is intended to provide healthcare staff and clinical audit professionals with a unique set of useful and interactive resources that will ultimately assist with the re-invigoration of clinical audit.
Clinical Audit Tools was launched in March 2012 and aims to be the most innovative and interactive clinical audit resource on the web. The website includes a wide range of electronic tools, enhanced podcasts and online lectures all aimed at making clinical audit accessible and achievable for those who are expected to participate in it. The website includes a range of interactive tools, including:
- Is it a clinical audit? - provides a quick answer to the question!
- Clinical Audit Ready Reckoner - calculates if your audit is likely to be a success
- Excel templates - allow you to build your own audit analysis tools
- Interactive blogs - do you agree with our views on audit?
- Discussion Boards – the place to discuss all things audit
The website aims to deliver simple intuitive resources that are quick and easy to use. The aim here is not to provide healthcare professionals with lengthy text documents full of theory, but rather to try and make clinical audit value, interesting and fun!
Materials on the website are free and we encourage you to share our resources with others. Please register your details (it takes seconds!) in order to comment on our interactive blogs and discussion boards.
We hope that you like the website and find it useful. We have been working on this for several years now so it is great to see our ideas come to fruition. It has been great to see over 500 members join in the first six months and positive feedback has been encouraging. However, we plan to ensure that the resource continues to evolve and more materials and tools will be added periodically.
